| 1 | lb | fresh medium-sized prawns, shelled |
| 1 | lb | cod fish, sliced to medium size chunks |
| 6 | tablespoon | olive or vegetable oil |
| 2 | tablespoon | dende oil (West African palm oil) |
| 2 | | large yellow onion, finely chopped |
| 3 | | cloves garlic, crushed |
| 2 | tablespoon | fresh lemon juice |
| 4 | | large tomatoes, peeled, seeded, chopped |
| 3 | tablespoon | chopped cilantro |
| ¼ | teaspoon | black pepper |
| ½ | teaspoon | salt |
| 1 | | fresh red hot pepper |

Heat the vegetables oil in a medium-sized pot and stir-fry the onion until golden brown.
Add the garlic, dende oil, cayenne pepper, cod and prawns. Stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add the salt, lemon juice, tomatoes, and coconut milk.
Simmer for 8-10 minutes.
